Tick tock tick, time continues to pass us by. Tick tock tick, the mouse did not run up the clock but kept on running around the clock, until it collapsed from exhaustion. Tick tock tick, we tend to run around in circles, when we should walk and sometimes walk, when we should be running. Unlike the mouse, we have some common sense to know when we are running around in circles and to stop doing so. Unlike the mouse, we have the gift of free will, we have purpose, intent, the ability to reason and knowledge that time is of the essence.

There are many schools of thought on the concept of time. There are several books on the concept of time and the management of time. Time travel may even be possible but for the multitude, that is never going to be a reality and will always remain a mystery or within the realms of science fiction.
You may never be able to time travel, except in your mind but you do have the opportunity to manage your time.

I like to think of time as a gift. It exists by itself, because it existed before we did and will continue to exist even after we are all gone. We are simply a testament of time and measure time according to our own concepts of reality and circumstances. Time is neither friend nor foe. It is neither fast or slow but relative to what we do, how much or how little we do within any particular time. It is complimentary to the gift of life. Like any gift, time has the value that we assign to it.

Everything that we do takes some time. Some things that we do are more important than others and the trick is to give more time to what is important rather than to what is not so important. The trick is to give value to time or to create some quality time as opposed to the quantity time. Quantity time is doing a lot of things that do not have the quality of less things done within the same time frame.

Both quality time and quantity time have the capacity to provide you with some satisfaction but quality time will always provide the greater satisfaction and fulfillment. You need to be able to distinguish between both , manage your time accordingly and find balance, rather than frustration or exhaustion.

Waking up takes some time. Thanks to traffic getting to work takes some time and before you know it, the day is over. While you are stuck in traffic, you could simply make some time to call a friend or a loved one. During your work day, you could make time to have lunch with your spouse or an old friend. You have to decide how you use and manage your time but always remember to make time
for the more important things in life and also the important people in your life.

Wake up and plan your day accordingly. Wake up and manage your time, so that at the end of the day you do not feel that you have wasted the gift of time. If you can manage your time or spend your time wisely, it ultimately adds up to a life well spent.
