Wake up & think positive
It is not when things are all honky dory that truly reflect who we are but when things appear to be falling apart. It is not when all the jigsaw pieces to our lives are nicely in place that define us but how we act and react when all the pieces appear to be falling apart or do not fit together.
The big questions are who are you and how are you under stress, and
when darkness befalls you or appears to surrounds you. Your mind and actions will either draw you more into darkness or guide you out of the dark storms.
Do not waste valuable time investing your energies where such investment is going to be a loss and you know it is. Do not squander your time thinking about what could have been but will be because you plan on directing your energy towards making it happen. Do not waste your time on regrets or dwelling on the past but focus it on the now and what you can do to change things. Focus your energy and your mind on what you can accomplish with the resources that you have your disposal. You can change things and you can accomplish some things, in spite of any situation.
There are a variety of ways that you can invest in yourself and some areas that you have to. Although money is important, It is not all about financial investment. It is also about making those investments that do not require much money. It is about taking care of yourself, about taking care of your health and investing your yourself with the right thoughts, in the right people, the right places and investing your time wisely.
A friend of mine joined the Gym today. They are getting more fancy and more expensive of course, but in spite of his financial situation he was able to find one at an affordable price. The objective was to invest in his health and fitness and he just took the right steps. In spite of our circumstances, our sometimes unfortunate circumstances or distractions, we have to take some time away from them to focus on what is important and invest in ourselves.
Wake up and invest in yourself. Wake up with the right mental attitude and direct your energies towards accomplishing a few things through the day. Wake up and take care of yourself. Wake up and go to the gym or for a walk. Wake up and do something that makes you feel fulfilled.
Each day has its own legacy and if to each day you can leave a positive fingerprint, you are building a great life investment platform for yourself and on your way towards leaving your own legacy.
