Wake up and evolve

            "There is only one true and right direction in life and                                      that is to keep on moving forward."      

​If you take a careful look at life you will notice that it is about evolution. All things and all people must evolve one way or another with the passing of time. The big question is how are you evolving or are you evolving? Life takes us all through stages and phases. Life has its seasons but it is a story about evolving into something else or what is to be. It is a movement away from regression and a digression from stagnation. It is about growth, spiritual, mental and hopefully positive growth. The journey is the evolution.

  If you take a careful look at your own life you will notice a certain pattern of growth and some evolution into something else. Sometimes there may be some stagnation along the way or taking two steps forward and three steps backward, but there is always some evolution. There is a part to evolution that is natural and to which you have no control over and there is evolution which is personal and requires a helping hand or mind from you.

  Everyone evolves on a natural and universal level of evolution but not everyone necessarily evolves on a personal or professional level. Personal evolution requires intent and sometimes also taking a leap of faith. Take the broken heart for example. My sympathies to the many hearts that may have been broken but on a personal level there can be no evolution of love without the mending of the heart. Without the mending or the ability not to have your heart broken, there lies the stagnation of love also. The example of the broken heart resonates on many other levels but the key is always to keep on looking and moving forward.

  Professional evolution requires confidence and the same leap of faith until you no longer need to leap frog from one job to another, because your professional evolution is complete. We start out our professional lives in one job at the bottom of the hierarchy and move up or if you are fortunate you start higher up and keep on moving. We change from one job to another in search of something better, if not afraid of leaving what you know for something new. That is professional evolution.
 
  On the personal level of evolution as opposed to the professional level of evolution, there is no completion until you get to your death bed. You have to constantly look for ways to make a better you and that is a part of your evolution. That is a part of you consciously aiding your own evolution. We are never only one thing but ourselves and the self must evolve or be subject to circumstances. It may be this conscious path to evolution that distinguishes one person from another and provides other gifts along the way that the conscious mind is not even aware of Think of that as a positive irony of evolution.  

  We all start out as babies, become children and then adults and many of us then become parents. That is a natural decree of life and evolution of life itself. Without procreation there is no life and we are the mechanics to such natural evolution. On the more personal and individual note, we start out as students in life and become teachers in different ways and or in many respects. Personal evolution requires you to exist in both the student/ teacher capacities because there is always something new to learn and something to impart to others.That is conscious evolution.

  You have to be very conscious about change and about moving forward in order to evolve. You have to be aware of who you are, who you want to become, where you are in life and where you want to get to also, to be able to evolve in the right direction. Evolution does not necessarily automatically mean an upgrade. It may  require upgrading, a lateral move or some downsizing but evolution in the right direction always means some positive change.

  Wake up with evolution in mind, make your decisions accordingly and you will make some positive progress in the right direction.
