Wake up & think positive
![]() `If there is nothing to celebrate, life appears to be without meaning. If there is always something to celebrate, life offers more meaning." NosaJ Maybe that is why life has so many seasons to it or why history and society have inadvertently provided us with so many days to celebrate. Our societies may of course have their own ulterior motives and that is for you to spend your money or to distract you from hard times, but the motive is irrelevant if there is something to celebrate, for celebration is the intimate associate of joy and happiness. If you take a closer or more careful look at life, you will find that it comprises of stages, phases and seasons. We all go through common stages, phases and seasons in life also and we also all have our own unique phases and seasons. Life has a particular cycle to it as do we. It is sometimes like a loop or like ground hog day, compliments of the repetition, but also a matter of perception. The celebration of life and the seasons provides a better perception of the loop and allows a greater appreciation of and for what is, that transforms the loop into its own paradise. Life goes on irrespective of what happens within the grand or personal time loop. Time, space and life have their own accord and you have to find your own accord with life and the universe within your own time frame. Appreciation is one of the great accords that gives any life more value. The celebration of life is a part of the appreciation accord. A simple truth is that, if we had an infinite amount of time to spend on earth, we would probably not appreciate it as much as the time that we are given or do have here on earth. It is like going on a vacation really. One of the reasons some vacations are appreciated is because they are brief. If vacations to anywhere were much longer, the vacation and place however exotic or beautiful would lose some value or eventually be taken for granted. As you might celebrate on an exotic vacation, appreciate the vacation or break away from work or what you might think to be mundane, so you should actually celebrate and appreciate your own life, the work that you do and who you are. Life pours something into us and we have to pour something back into life, that gives it more meaning to self and to others. There is really no need to keep on looking for the meaning to life because you are the meaning of life and the meaning of life is also all around you. You have to look to see and appreciate what you see to always find some meaning. There is a tendency for us not to really appreciate things or celebrate people, our blessings and things until we have lost them. How we wake up each day and take the day for granted, without even being aware of the sunrise or being jubilant for another day of life. How we go through the day, wishing for it to come to an end, without even appreciating the air that we breathe or celebrating another day of life and the beauty around us. Instead we see more of chaos and so chaos makes itself prominent. Life provides many reasons for us to celebrate life and even with the many distractions that also come to light and with our personal lives, we are all granted universally common occasions for celebration. On your birthday it is about celebrating you and every other day about someone else. We have valentine's day to celebrate love but need not wait for Valentine's day to profess love. Almost every month of the year there is something else to celebrate and every nation on the earth has its own days and reason to celebrate. Do not be the exception to celebration rule. Celebrate your own life, your deeds, your accomplishments, what you have to look forward to and you will find more meaning and joy to life. Celebrate others and be happy for them, when it is their time to celebrate and you create more joy. Now that Christmas is upon us, celebrate the season of Christ and be merry. Celebrate the days and seasons that follow and make life itself a celebration.Have a wonderful and a very merry Christmas.
