Wake up and feel love. Wake up and feel love for yourself. Wake up and feel love for others. Wake up and feel the love around you. Wake up and feel love for the day.
A lot has been said about love and there will always be plenty to say about love. Love precedes us, love resides with and within us now and love will remain long after we are gone. Love belongs to the positive and like happiness, it is a seed that has to grow from within. Love has to be a part of you, for you to think love, to feel love and be loving or to allow yourself to be loved.
Like happiness and positivity, love can have its interrupted moments but remains a part of you. It grows according to how you feel and nourish your thoughts and your feelings. It can be magnified or it can be diminished in proportion to your thoughts, your feelings and your actions. Let love nourish your actions today.
Do not get angry or frustrated in a hurry today. Anger is the arch enemy to love and frustration the side kick to anger. Anger is the knight of negativity. This knight is assigned the task of parting you from love or love from your heart and mind. You must beware of anger and avoid speaking with anger. What has come from the tongue cannot be taken back.
` Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.’ James 1:19
Anger ignites negativity to any given situation. Patience, attentive ears and heart provide calmness and the clarity of mind to resolve situations aroused by frustration. Love is patient, attentive, kind, calm and non- judgmental.
Wake up and align yourself with love. Wake up and feel love. You may not have to look far, if you are lying next to a loved one, have children or even a pet to wake up to. Love is all around us but most of the time we either take love for granted or are distracted by other events and experiences. Do not take it for granted today and do not be so distracted that you lose sight of the greatest gift to life or the feeling of the greatest experience to life.
Wake up, re-align yourself and walk through the day with love. let your loved ones know that you love them. Give your partner a kiss and give your kids a hug before you leave home for the day. Give your pet some love. If no one or no pet close by to give some love, wake up and love yourself. Walk out that door with love in your heart and your mind. Walk out into the world and spread some love. It will be a good day.

The trick is not to start fires but to learn how to put them out should they arise of their own will or the will of others. Positivity helps extinguish these fires. Think positive, feel positive, be positive, stay positive.'
If you can go to bed with a peaceful state of mind or being at peace with yourself, the likely hood is that you will wake up with good spirits and energy to provide their own rays of energy to the day ahead. If you were not able to so last night, try making it happen tonight and look forward to the end of the day.
We go to bed with a lot of thoughts and worries on our minds and we wake up the same way. Sometimes we go to bed thinking about bills, bills, bills and more bills or a dreaded event. Sometimes we go to bed after an argument and the issues of the argument do not suddenly disappear in the morning. It stirs negativity to the day and can make a bad day.
A wise woman once told me that it is best to resolve any arguments before going to sleep or hug and make up with your partner before going to bed. Clear the storm before going to sleep and you have a better change of waking up with peace of mind and a peaceful day ahead of you. Clear the worry in your mind and you will be able to enjoy the gift of today. Clear the clutter in your mind and you will find clarity to the day ahead.
If you go to bed with negativity you wake up with negativity. If you go to bed with positivity and sleep with positivity, you wake up to positivity and the beauty of positivity accompanies you through the rest of the day. If by chance you did go to bed with negativity last night or had an affair with negativity, use the day to look for a resolution and make a few phone calls to embrace positivity. Look forward to sleeping with positivity tonight. At the very least you have something to look forward to.
Think of it as like making love the night before and the energy of that positive moment making you glow throughout the rest day. A very simple thought or memory create their own happiness and you need those thoughts and memories to nourish your mind and to engineer a brilliant start to the day and week ahead of you. Create peaceful thoughts in your mind. Search your mind for happy memories and they will make you smile. They will grant you some serenity to the day.
Forgive others as the day unfolds for they do not always mean what they say or do and forgive yourself also, for you are not perfect. Forgive and forget, if you can. Forgive and forget about the arguments and worries of yesterday and face the day ahead with peace within you and a positive frame of mind.

We are all survivors. We are survivors to the journey and battle that is life. You are a survivor. Your status as a survivor depends on your perception of life as a journey or a battle. The more you see it as a journey, the better life may appear. The more you view it as a battle, the more of a battle it will be. It is actually both but the side that you take the most determines your survival status.
Congratulations and welcome to a new day. You made it through yesterday, you made it through the night and most likely you will make it through the day ahead. You are still alive. Consider yourself blessed.
Learning to Understand how things work, allows us to make them work, work better or to continue working, when something goes wrong with them. Life is like that also. An understanding of life and an appreciation of the process called life can make life work better for you. You have to learn and understand a few things about life in order to thrive.
The process called life is so grand and magnificent that it defies complete understanding. Such complete understanding belongs only to the divine. Life however does not require complete understanding. It requires some understanding. If you have a good but not necessarily a complete understanding of anything, you can ensure that they work better. If you have a good understanding of how life works, you can ensure life works better for you.
Understanding that life itself is a process, provides you with a good foundation to life. Understanding that your life is a process and that it unfolds in stages, provides you with the foundation to a good or better life.
There is much to understand but there are a few things about the process worth learning, understanding and remembering. One thing to understand about the process that is life is that it is a routine. If you can embrace that thought and learn to love the routines, they become more bearable and less mundane. The more passion that you pour into these routines or the mundane, the more magnificent they can become. The more you think of them as mundane and boring, the more they take that life form.
Another thought to keep in mind is that everything takes time and that time waits for no man, woman or child. Time keeps on ticking by. An understanding of time allows you to be more organized and to appreciate each moment as they come and go. An understanding of time means that you have a certain respect for time also and do not abuse the gift of time that has been given to you in each and every capacity. The only capacity that is excused is childhood.
A life well spent has little or no regrets to it. There may be some room for sadness but no room for `Could have’, `Should have’, `Would have’ or `If only’. You do not want to get to the final stages of your life and wonder ` where did my life go.’
Enjoy the process that is life and understand that your time here on earth is limited and should be used wisely. Journey through each day with some understanding about life and let understanding guide you through your journey. If you can learn to manage your time during the day, you will find fulfillment. If you squander the time that you do have, you will find great disappointment to the day and to life.
Wake up and manage your day wisely. Set some goals, organize your time, get things done on your to do list and you will find great fulfillment to your day and to life.
Wake up and greet the day with great expectations for yourself and for other but not from others.
I say this with the qualification of `but not from others' for a reason and I will get there eventually, if I do not forget to do so or lose that stream of thought.
I have said it before and I will say it again. First thing in the morning is usually the most vunerable part of the day but if you can manage to get out of your bed and re-align your thoughts,you should be good to go. If you can do that and project a good day, you can ultimately manifest a good day. Manifestation does not come from negativity. Negativite thoughts prevent manifestation of what is good and positive and you need some positivity as your foundation for such manifestation.
If you can wake up and greet the day with great expectations in a positive frame of mind, those expectations will unfold. Even if they do not unfold, you are still likely to have a good day because you have something to look forward to.
Great expectations mean great but they do not mean ridiculous expectations or the fulfillment of fantasies. Great expectations mean expecting good things to happen through the day rather than bad things. Great expectations means expecting to help someone else other than yourself and for good things to happen to other people and around you. Great expectations requires some element of self and some elements of selflessness. This is about having great expectations for yourself and for others.
To have great expectations from others takes you more into the realm of selfishness and also sets you up for disappointment. It does not really matter who the other is, whether they are your spouse, your lover, your friend or child. There is the danger of great disappointment when you have great expectations from others. There can be disappointment when you have any expectations, even the simple expectation of a phone call from a loved one or a message or selfie from a lover during the course of the day. There is some danger to putting anyone on the pedestal of expectations for they can fall and they can fall on top of you.
There is only one great expectation that is worth having from other and that is their happiness. Have great expectations today. Have great expectations for a wonderful day.Have expectations of happiness for yourself, for others and from others.

A thought that might come to mind when you think of surrender is defeat but to surrender is not necessarily defeat . It can be a victory because it is the end of a battle. Neither is surrender to be thought to be contrary to having courage. To surrender is simply a means to an end.To know when to surrender is wise. When it it is time to surrender, you also need some courage to do so.
Do you wake up with worry and worry about the day that has not already happened? Do you wake up and wonder what the day holds in store for you? The waking moment can be one of our most vulnerable times of the day and especially Monday morning. It is when you might question your purpose the most and when you might ask yourself more about the meaning of life or the meaning to your life. It is when fear of the future can take its greatest hold on you and it can take some time to jolt yourself out of the vulnerable state that you find yourself in. It can take some time to re-align yourself.
If it is any consolation, life does have some meaning. Your life has some meaning, especially if you touch other lives in a positive way. If you are husband or wife, you touch another life. If you are a good friend,you are available in times of need. If you are a parent, you are a guide and responsible for a life or several lives. If you are a worker and provide a service, you touch other lives. The day may require you to play multiple roles in each and every one of these capacities but each has some meaning and provides some meaning for you and to the day.
If you can learn to surrender to the day with positivity on your side, the day will not turn out to be as bad as you originally expected it to be. If you can surrender to the roles that you have to play today, rather than doing battle with yourself in each capacity, you will find more peace of mind and it could turn out to be a very fulfilling day.
You cannot always be in control, even if you want to be. There are some things that you can control and there are some things that you cannot control. You can control getting out of bed and re-aligning yourself to be your best for the day. You cannot control the traffic but you can control your mind and your reaction to it. You can surrender to the traffic rather than spend your early morning battling with the thought. Play some relaxing music along the way and try to enjoy the ride. You cannot control all the changes that are going on at work. You can question them but unless you work for yourself, you cannot control the corporate changes. You simply have to surrender to them. You cannot control a call from your child's school to inform you that they are sick but surrender to the needs of your child and go take care of the child.
If you prefer another word for surrender, you can supplement it with ` flow ‘ or think of the process as flowing with the day. You can flow with the tide or against the tide of the day. If you can flow with the tide, you find the day to be less of a battle and you find less of a battle in your mind. Surrender to the day and to the things that have to be done without too much conflict. Surrender to what needs to get done and what you know that you can get done today and you will find some fulfillment to the day.
Do not be afraid of the day or what lies ahead. Be your best and neither the day nor anyone else can ask more of you in any of your capacities.. Enjoy the ride through the day as driver and or passenger. Flow through the day like a beautiful breeze in whichever role you have to play today or the multiple roles that you play as a spiritual being having a human experience.
