Wake up & think positive
Whether you realise it or not each day is as beautiful as you wake up and decide to make it or allow it to be. Each day is as beautiful, as you allow it to be or allow others to make it for you. The revers is also true.
Each day can be as negative as you allow it to be or allow others and or circumstances to subtract from you positivity and or your anticipated joy.
Life is such that each or every other day is going to present some challenge to youin one form or another. Someone may present the challenge of the day, a corporation may present the challenge of the day or something presents itself as a challenge. Look in the mirror every morning and you might be looking at your greatest challenge. You might be able to run away from a lot of challenges but never the one that you see in the mirror.
Look in the mirror even closer and you will probably see the creative you and the problem solver. You have to make the creative you and the problem solver your best friends, for they will get you out of trouble
and find a way out of your tight spots for you. Wake up, look in the mirror and have faith in the person looking back at you.
At the end of each year, so many of us make New Year resolutions and barely a fort night later the resolutions are broken. We wait until the end of the year to make a decision or to resolve a part of us
that need not wait and break the resolution after waiting so long to make it. Each new year is of course, a great land mark for decisions but personally, I take the view that it offers too much room for excuse.
If you are going to make a resolution, why procrastinate about it. If you need to resolve any given matter, why procrastinate about it? Each or every other day is going to provide an issue that needs resolution and some issues are so long standing that they beg for resolution.
Take an issue as they arises and resolve them without delay. If there was an unresolved issue that bothered you yesterday, take care of it today. If there is something that needs to be resolved today, wake up and be prepared to resolve it. It cleans the path ahead of a lot of negativity, teaches you creativity and allows you to be more productive in life.
Wake up and make it a practice to resolve something and you will become quite good at it. Wake up and decide to resolve and there is no end to what you can accomplish.
There are some things and some thoughts to life that we tend to automatically associate with the negative without giving it too much thought. Such things and such thoughts usually have a dual nature to them. They are like different sides to the same coin but we tend to focus more on one side rather than the other. Obsession has that dual nature to it.
Obsession is the state of being obsessed with someone or something. It is an idea or a thought that constantly intrudes upon or occupies a person's mind. Such a state of being or occupation depends on the state of the mind and of course how the mind is occupied.
If you have watched a lot of movies, you will no doubt have found that such obsessions with someone or something do not always go well but that is seeing only the negative side of the coin but let's flip the coin over and look at obsession from a different perspective. Let us take a look at the other side of the coin. Think about the phrase `Positive obsession'
There is negative obsession and there is positive obsession. Negative obsessions will always lead to negative results. Positive obsessions should have the reverse effect and lead to positive results. Negative obsession and positive obsession tend to have one thing in common and that commonality is results.
There are a number of reasons why. Successful people are successful but there is no stronger reason than obsession. Successful people are successful because they obsess about success. Obsession is the parent of their determination, their goal orientated minds, their determination, their tenacity and desire to be successful. I think of success as a positive obsession and offer it as an example of the flip side to the coin.
There are many distractions to life and many distractions to the goals that we each seek to accomplish. Some of these distractions become or are negative obsessions and these negative obsessions lead us away from the positive. Because there are so many distractions to life and to our goals and because we try to accomplish so much at the same time or within a short period of time, it is necessary to be positively obsessed about some of these goals.
The mind is wonderful instrument and if you can use it wisely and or strategically, you will be amazed as to what you can accomplish. You can accomplish quite a lot and you can accomplish your goals.
If you can wake up in the morning and program your mind to accomplish a particular goal, you will. If you can wake up in the morning and start obsessing about accomplishing something during the day, you will. If you wake up on time and obsess about getting to work on time, you will. If you wake up and obsess about doing a great job at work or helping someone, you will. If you can wake up in the morning and obsess about not letting anyone ruffle your feathers, no one will be able to ruffle your feathers. If you can wake up and obsess about making it a wonderful day, it will be a wonderful day.
Think about it and make it happen. Think about the positive side to obsession and use it to your advantage. Wake up and obsess about something positive.
