Each day is a new day. Each day is of course a continuation of life but each new day is also an opportunity for change. Each new day is an opportunity for a new perspective and to do something different. If we keep on holding on to what was and keep on doing the same things over and over again, nothing changes. Nothing needs to change of course, if you are doing things right and you are perfectly happy with the way things are but if you are not happy with the way things are, there needs to be a shift.
The greatest shift that needs to take place has to take place in the mind. The mind is the generator of all our energies and the mind directs how we feel on any given day. If you can re-align your thoughts and help your mind with directions, that shift can take place.
Sometimes we wake up and look forward to the day with dread thus creating a negative mind frame.
Sometimes we wake up with dread and not even know why or wake up with dread because there is something to be afraid of. The better way to wake up is to wake up and have something positive to look forward to. It brightens up the day ahead.
Forget about what went wrong yesterday and think about all the things that could go well today and they probably will. Create something to look forward to or a picture of someone in your mind to look forward to seeing and the day will brighten up for you. You can even look forward to the end of the day, if you like
and you will get there before you know it. This is not to say that you should wish away the day but look forward to each moment and dwell in each moment as the end of the day approaches.
Stop looking at the clock everynow and again. Engage yourself, engage your mind, engage others and before you know it, your day is almost at an end and what you looked forward to has come to pass or is about to happen.
Create something in your mind to look forward to and it will be a great day. Make a practice of creating or having something to look forward to and life rarely has a dull moment. You become engaged to excitement.
