There is no escaping the journey that is life and there is no escaping some of the struggles that may be a part of your journey. You have to make the journey step by step and stage by stage until it is time for your journey to end. Some struggles can be avoided along the way but to survive, to thrive and to evolve, you have to fight your battles as they arise or plan ahead of time for the battles that come with the next steps to your journey.
We cannot outrun the struggles that the universe or life sends our way but we can learn to run with them, rather than run away from them. If you try and run away from them, they have a tendency to chase you and catch up with you eventually. They also have the capacity to grow in strength and overwhelm you, if you let them.
It is said that God does not give us more than we can handle and maybe that is so. Maybe we just let what we can handle with each step or stage pile up to be a mountain of struggles, because we did not take care of them when we should have or at the stages that we should have, with the resources that were available to us at the time. Sit down and do nothing and life will keep on throwing struggles your way, but if you do something about each struggle at their different stages, there will always be less to struggle with.
That is where the souldier that is you comes in to play. That was no typo by the way. There are soldiers and there are souldiers. There are soldiers that go to war for everyone else and their country and they are the brave heroes we know as our soldiers.
