Wake up & think positive
There are times to be sad and there are times to be happy. That is the simple nature of and prescription to life. There are seasons to be merry and there are some seasons also for sadness. There are some reasons to be sad but there are also many reasons to be happy. There are some things to be sad about and there are plenty of things to be happy about.
Having to wake up in the morning and go to work is not something to be sad about . There are much greater things in the world to be sad about. Having a job to wake up to and go to should be something to be happy about, even if it is not the most wonderful place in the world to go to. Some people have no job to go to, no pay check to look forward to and maybe no car to get them from A to B.
Every day is not Christmas but each day can be a merry day, if you set your mind to making it a merry day. Christmas is one of those merry seasons but you can make your own merry seasons. Christmas day is meant to be a merry day but you can also make your own merry days.
Think about what makes the Christmas period a merry season, apply it to your daily life and you may find yourself waking up a much more merrier person each day. Christmas is of course about the birth and celebration of Jesus Christ but it is also about the celebration of life, of love, of family and friendship. It is about having something to look forward to, about giving and about receiving. Think about giving, think about family, think about what you love doing and be merry.
Doing the same thing over and over again is most likely to keep on producing the same results
and the same feelings. Doing some things differently will most likely have a different outcome and
produce a different feeling, a more positive feeling.
You cannot change the way that you do every thing overnight. Some things have to stay the way that they
are because that is the way that they are meant to be, but some things you can change. You cannot change everything about you and it would be a fallacy to even try but there are some things that you can change and there are some things about you that you know you should change to make a better you.
The one thing that we can all change about ourselves is our attitude. It is our attitude to the day, to people, to things and to life, that shapes the outcome of a lot of things. A positive attitude produces positive results.
A positive frame of mind leads to a beautiful day, while a negative attitude does the reverse.
Apart from attitude there are the small things that you can change to make the day different or better.
Monotony and routine are the parents of repetition and can easily become the grand parents of boredom.
Take a different route to work, to change your routine. Do not have that early morning smoke with a cup of coffee and you might just feel better. Kiss and make up with your partner, instead of holding a grudge.
Make love in the morning, rather than make war with each other or yourself and set positivity in motion.
Wake up and do something different. wake up and make a change to your routine and see how that works for you.
